I've gotten much better at processing my grief; each loss serves to take a little soft piece inside and turn it into something...different - stronger, for sure, able to withstand deeper cuts and harder impacts...But unfortunately it hasn't gotten any less painful to lose someone. Even knowing what's coming only serves to allow you to brace yourself; it doesn't lessen the impact. more »
